A Conspiracy of sinister motives is the only way to interpret the two responses to Mr. DeYoung's question. The FAA, Mesa officials, and law-breaking tower controllers who just can't help themselves in abusing power, destroying communities, and risking their jobs - all conspiring to appease a flight school.

Mr. Gardner's entire post is nothing more than a fearful whine, with misinformation, innacuracies, and slander. Better grab your teddy bear and hold on tight, sir. And meanwhile, check your cholesterol levels, sugar and fat intake, exercise frequency, any slippery floors and stairs, your attention on the roads while driving, and your proximity to lightning - because these and many other conditions are certain to kill you before an airplane does. Just in case you didn't know that.

"You can rant at us and incorrectly say we are insensitive to the impeding human suffering" No, Mr. Knauth, not 'we', only you and the words you wrote. It's not a rant to call you on something so obvious and insensitive, so try and just take responsibility for it. And you still haven't proven any questions asked of you. Without proof, you define ranting.

I for one refuse to allow a few Fearmongers to ruin the priviledge and freedom of flight so many of us pilots worked hard to earn and keep alive. Nimbys naively think by controlling outer conditions, that that will make up for their own lack of discipline in their own personal security of mind and heart. They must be challenged and shown they need to take responsibility for the lives they've created near airports, high tension wires, highways or whatever places 'they' don't like.

I have the priviledge to fly a shelter dog rescue for PilotsnPaws this week to CO. I hope the lovely old girl, a basset hound, doesn't pee over your houses - but you know, you just can't predict these things.
